HOW DO I BOOK A SESSION

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR FOR OUR PHOTOS?

Choose outfits that coordinate without matching exactly. Neutral or soft colors, simple patterns, and comfortable pieces always photograph well. Avoid big logos or super busy prints. Most importantly, wear something you feel good in—I’m happy to help with outfit ideas or send inspo boards.

DO YOU HELP WITH POSING?

Yes, 100%. I'll guide you the entire time with simple, natural prompts so you never feel stiff or awkward. You don’t need any posing experience at all; I’ll walk you through everything. Truthfully, I am looking for those special moments in-between that feel more natural, so no pressure if it feels forced- I'm probably not going for it anyway ;)

HOW LONG DO SESSION LAST?

Most engagement sessions last between 1-1.5 hours. Family session range between between 20-60 minutes depending on package

WHAT HAPPENS IF WEATHER IS BAD OR WE NEED TO RESCHEDULE?

If the weather isn’t cooperating, we’ll either adjust the timing for better light or reschedule to the next available date- no stress. For non-weather reschedules, just let me know as soon as you can, and I’ll do my best to accommodate. Life happens!

WHAT DOES YOUR PRICING LOOK LIKE?

Family sessions range between $250-$500

Wedding coverage starts in the $3,500 dollar range

Can we customize our photography package?

Absolutely! I am happy to work with you to create a custom photography package that meets your specific needs.

Do you travel?

Yes! I'd love to go with you to your destination. Please contact me to get a personalized quote.

What is your photographic style and can we request our own style?

My style is "true to life" photography. I highlight the natural beauty of our scenes and subjects without gimmicks or filters while taking pride in the look and feel of photography I know will last forever. I'll leave other styles and filters to those that do it best.

Can you photoshop us?

The best way to capture great images is to start with great images. Every photo on my site and for my clients is as shot in camera- edited for things like color balance, lighting and composition. I do not photoshop images unless circumstances absolutely require it.

Do you give out RAW images?

To keep my true to life style consistent and up to my photographic standards I do not release RAW images to the client.

What if my kids don't cooperate?

Totally normal—and absolutely okay. I work with kids all the time, and I expect wiggles, breaks, and big feelings. Instead of forcing stiff poses, I keep things relaxed and playful so they warm up naturally. Some of the best photos happen in those in-between moments anyway. Your job is just to show up; I’ll take it from there.

Can we bring our dog/pet?

Yes, absolutely! Pets are always welcome. If you bring your pup, I recommend bringing a leash, a few treats, and maybe an extra helper to hold them when they're not in the photos. Pets add so much personality to your session, and I’m totally here for it.

Do you choose the location or do we?

I’ll help you pick a location that fits the vibe you want—whether that’s open fields, mountains, a park, downtown, or somewhere more personal. I have a list of go-to spots with great light and easy access, and I’m always open to places that are meaningful to your family. Once I know the look you’re going for, I’ll share options and guide you to the best choice.
